Movement is one of our driving forces, the reason why we have a formal way of being here whether to fulfill inherent dreams or to anticipate by an on-going execution of a plan the provision of food to our families. Yes, food mostly. But the day Professional Drivers stopped moving with their Giant Machines, the unexpected happened and we stopped, too. We were part of the extensive road filled with a line of people who supported the lack of movement of these experienced drivers and the irregular idea of stopping to move. Five uncommon moments after, I was quiet in my not so comfortable situation, watching prices getting higher and pondering: “Tomatoes! I need tomatoes!” And they were suddenly as expensive as imported butter.
The following happening involved birds that did not fly. As there were no moves to keep our fragile systems operating as always, millions of chickens starved to death. This is what we come across with when we do not feed our systematically organized society and one quarter of its parts. And this is what happens when causers meet consequences.
What I did after was wait, and wait, and wait… like a bird whose freedom had been limited by boundaries unseen. Like a person born to love in the cold land of mistrust. Why, I reckon I did something very ordinary, too. I had my nails done, as armed people in low tones of voice were asked to keep unarmed people safe from LACK OF MOVEMENT.
Now a new kind of movement has emerged not from a magic-oriented kind of technology, but from a remaining hope in military forces as if War had been called upon to save us all. Endowed with imagination, one could think of the city of Mariana, which was rebuilt with houses made of the mud that once consumed it. Endowed with freedom, one could say what the future would be like or be deceived by a sparse reach of hope. What we believe ultimately underpins the future.
