Duas ideias que o Jesus da Bíblia nos diz são: sacrifícios devem ser feitos e podemos encontrar alegria e propósito em saber que temos uma missão nessa vida, que é encontrada quando estamos verdadeiramente sintonizados com Deus. Ele veio para nos dizer que não viemos a este mundo em vão. Que estamos aqui apenas temporariamente. Fala sobre eternidade. O mundo nesses termos é apenas uma moda, uma irrefreável sequência de mudanças. Nossas preocupações sobre política, economia e família tem validade até a semana seguinte, para serem então transformadas em outra preocupação que estabelecemos em nossos sistemas de preocupações regrados muito comumente por algo valorizado em nossa comunidade.

Nossos sistemas de preocupações são muito complexos como é a sociedade, e eles tem a sua função na minha existência implicada em lobos parietais e a mentalidade humana. Nossos sistemas de esperança, se exclusivamente conectados a pessoas ou qualquer instância criada pelo mundo são tão temporários quanto somos nós mesmos. O Jesus da Bíblia nos diz para não viver pelas coisas que vemos, mas por aquelas que não vemos. Somos muito mais que o que vemos ou o que as pessoas veem em nós. 

Aqui é M. Costa em Leia-me, Por Favor. Tem sido sobretudo Deus e eu até agora. E senti de falar sobre o Jesus da Bíblia pela razão de que Ele fala, acima de tudo, sobre Deus.

Two ideas that the Jesus of the Bible tells us are: sacrifices must be made and we may find joy or purpose in knowing that we have a mission in this life, which is found when we are truly tuned into God. He came to tell us we did not come to this world in vain, and that we are here only temporarily. He speaks of eternity. The world in these terms is just a fad and a non-stoppable sequence of changes. Our worries about politics, economy and family matters are due next week, to be then transformed into another worry we have established in our systems of worries ruled very commonly by something valued in our community.  

Our systems of worries are very complex as is society, and they have their function in my existence implied in parietal lobes and in my human mentality. Our systems of hope, if exclusively connected to people or any world-created instance are as temporary as we are ourselves. The Jesus of the Bible tells us not to live by the things we see, but for those we cannot see. We are much more than what we see or what people see in us.

 

This is M. Costa on Read Me, Please. It has been mostly me and God so far. And I felt like speaking about the Jesus of the Bible because He speaks, above all, about God.
